WebQuest

This afternoon, four teachers met at the National Library and talked about the impact of their training upon their present teaching. Among them, me included. We are surely changed and we want this to be obvious. After complaining about the difficulties in making things work out, we enjoyed a nice cup of coffee and a delicious chocolate-covered- cocoa-mousse that made our neurons go wild. Full of admiration when glancing at some Conservatory musicians having a show in the hall, we headed home, our heads swarming with ideas. Our trainers encouraged us to think out a list of commitments. I haven't finished it yet, but after all, aren't all big things made up of small-stepped actions?! Here is a tiny little proof: my first webquest which went on and on forever....probably not the best idea today, but one that can be improved tomorrow. I myself find real joy in my readings and I am perfectly aware my students will not cheer with joy at that, but the exams such as IELTS, SAT, TOEFL put their originality, critical thinking/writing to test. Obviously, they have to rapidly come up with models, real-life or "real-literature" examples that will help them support their arguments in defending a side. Along with Mother Teresa, Martin Luther King, Romeo&Juliet can be perfect examples, world-wide known.
